These little mini apple pies are adorable and the perfect dessert for after Thanksgiving dinner. They are the perfect size and this recipe make 12 mini pies! I hope you enjoy and try them out!
What you will need:
- 2 Pillsbury crust
- 4 cups of apples cut into little pieces (about 4 or 5 apples)
- 6 Tablespoons of flour
- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Mix all dry ingredients and cut up apples
Cut out circles of pie crust with a wide lid and place them into the muffin tins
Add apple mixture into the muffin tins filling it a little over the top. Cut the 2 tablespoons of butter into about 12 pieces and put it over the apples and then add left over crust on top. I had a turkey cookie cutter so that is what I used. Brush the dough with melted butter.
Bake for about 18 minutes. I would recommend checking the pies often to make sure you don’t over bake them. Enjoy!
